RPF Associates, Inc. Announces the Renewal of our NH Asbestos Disposal Site Contractor License
Northwood NH, October 23: RPF Associates, Inc., (RPF) an environmental health and safety (EH&S) consulting and testing firm, has had their license renewed for an approved New Hampshire asbestos disposal site contractor by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services. Materials that contained asbestos were manufactured in local plants throughout New Hampshire for nearly 100 years. Manufacturing ceased in the mid 1980s, however, the legacy of waste disposal still plagues local communities, especially Nashua and Hudson where asbestos waste products were given away as free fill to local property owners. Due to the free fill, asbestos waste can be found on and around public, residential and commercial properties throughout Nashua and Hudson It can also be found beneath existing transportation structures, canals, and railroads beds. For ADS sites RPF routinely provides site characterizations, remediation plan design, site monitoring, air testing, and regulatory liaison services for public and private clients throughout the affected areas. RPF is also the NH State-Wide contract consultant.
With offices in Northwood, NH and Amesbury, MA, RPF provides indoor air quality assessments; hazardous material testing; mold assessments; construction safety; OSHA and EPA regulatory compliance services; and site inspections for asbestos, lead-based paint, and other environmental hazards. In addition, the RPF professional development group provides corporate health and safety training programs for clients throughout New England.
