Health Care Institutions
Health care facilities have a myriad of environmental health and safety considerations ranging from chemical exposures, respiratory hazards, blood-borne pathogens, laboratory ventilation, ergonomics, x-rays and radioactive materials.
In addition, facilities management is an integral part of the equation with its own EH&S issues such as indoor air quality, potential for fungal and mold contamination, operations and maintenance cleaning, asbestos, general safety issues for building and grounds maintenance, and hazardous building materials. Should the need for asbestos or other hazardous material remediation arise, the logistics and need for precaution in the health care setting is paramount.
For the past 17 years, RPF has assisted many health care institutions with their testing and compliance needs including hospitals, clinics, medical offices, surgery centers, and nursing homes.
